A number of resources have been developed as companion documents to the National Health Medical and Research Council (NHMRC) Australian Guidelines for the Prevention and Control of Infection in Health Care, 2010. The resources aim to support the aged care sector to improve staff knowledge and skills in the area of infection prevention and control.

- Pocket book for healthcare workers
Information on the key principles of infection prevention and control messages are depicted in a small pocket-sized book that aims to provide advice to aged care workers/staff at all levels.
Infection Control pocket book
Seasonal A3 posters (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter) provide messages on how to stop the spread of disease in aged care homes. The messages are on hand hygiene, cough/sneeze etiquette and exclusion. It is intended the posters will be changed seasonally to support the concept that influenza can occur at any time of year.
