Launch – Mount Alexander Shire Council Seniors Festival, VIC – 30 September 2010

The Mount Alexander Shire Council launched their Seniors Festival on 30 September at the impressive Castlemaine Art Gallery. Noeline was thrilled to be asked to come along and launch this wonderful community event for older Australians.

Noeline congratulated the Council for their efforts in organising such a great Festival, which not only celebrates older people but also provides many opportunities for local seniors to enjoy a variety of social activities, such as Tai Chi, table tennis, bingo, walking groups, dancing, and readings at the library, just to name a few.

If the launch was anything to go by, older residents of the Mount Alexander Shire are in for a great time during the Seniors Festival.
