City of Casey Ageing Positively Festival
City of Casey VIC, 7 Oct 2008
Noeline attended the City of Casey's Ageing Positively Festival titled Active through the Arts. The event, which coincided with Victorian Seniors Week, aimed to encourage the participation of seniors in art workshops while providing them with information on a range of opportunities and programs. It also provided seniors with a great fun community experience.

Byron Lighthouse Run/Walk
Byron Bay NSW, 19 Oct 2008
Noeline was very excited about participating in the Byron Lighthouse Run, a 10 km event with all proceeds going to the Cancer Council. She wanted to show that you're never too old to take part in activities of this kind. At 70, Noeline shows no sign of slowing down and that's the way she likes it.
The Byron Lighthouse run not only provided a wonderful physical activity for all community members, young and old, it was also a great way to meet people and have fun! The Ambassador is pictured here with Lisa Parkes, the event organiser, and 10 year old Liam, the youngest participant in the race.
