Mid 2009 the lovely city of Maryborough, Victoria, hosted an unforgettable photographic exhibition called ‘Beyond Reasonable Drought’ – prior to arriving in Maryborough the exhibition was held at Old Parliament House, Canberra, and the National Art Gallery.

As part of the celebrations surrounding the Exhibition, the Melbourne District Health Service organised a special night out for women in the community affected by drought. The Ambassador was invited to attend the event held on 10th June and be guest speaker as well as participant in a panel discussion. Noeline was impressed by the exhibition and she was touched by the warmth and hospitality she was shown.
