Adult Learners Week

On the 2nd of July the Ambassador for Ageing attended the Adult Learners Week celebrations in Canberra ACT.
Each year, Adult Learners' Week is celebrated with hundreds of events and activities designed to promote the benefits of learning - in the home, at work and in the community - and to highlight the many options available.

Meeting with Troy Buswell and Ian Parmenter
Bussleton WA, 4 July 2008
On the 4th of July Noeline Brown was invited to Busselton by the Member for Vaase, Mr Troy Buswell, to speak to seniors in his electorate about a range of issues affecting older people. Both Ms Brown and Mr Buswell were joined later by the celebrity chef and food and wine critic, Mr Ian Parmenter, who conducted a forum with the seniors on healthy eating and good nutrition.
