Aged Care Financing Authority
The Aged Care Financing Authority will provide independent advice to the Government on pricing and financing issues, informed by consultation with consumers, and the aged care and finance sectors.
The Government announced the establishment of the Aged Care Financing Authority (the Authority) on 1 August 2012.
The Chair and Deputy Chair are independent appointments with Ms Lynda O’Grady to Chair the Authority and Professor Graeme Hugo to be Deputy Chair. Other Authority members are Mr Ian Yates, Mr Nicolas Mersiades, Ms Sue Lines, Mr Paul Gregersen, Mr Graham Hodges and Ms Sally Evans.

Interim Operating Framework Recommendations
The Authority also submitted its recommendation on its Interim Operating Framework to the Minister on 28 September 2012. Minister Butler has approved these recommendations.Accommodation Payments
