Business Advice to Aged Care Providers - KPMG

KPMG has been commissioned by the Department of Health and Ageing as part of the implementation of the Australian Government’s new aged care funding model, to provide eligible residential aged care providers with advisory services to assist them in managing the transition to the Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI).

These arrangements have been established as some homes will need extra assistance to adapt their business practices to the new funding system.

It is expected that smaller homes, including those located in rural and remote areas, or that cater for aged care residents from specific cultural or community groups, will be the most likely to seek assistance.

Details of the services can be found on the KPMG ACFI webpage at www.acfi.kpmg.com.au. Aged care homes can also contact KPMG through the KPMG ACFI hotline on 1800 633 719, or by email: acfi@health.gov.au
