Casemix Information Systems
Casemix Information Systems (CIS) is a suite of data applications designed to enable analysis of hospital patient episodes. The tools in the package have been provided to enable the simple creation of ad hoc reports.
The CIS suite consists of four applications:
- Peer Group Statistics - analysis of DRG or MBS.
- Clinical Profiles - clinical analysis of DRG by procedures, diagnosis, patient age and outcome.
- Efficiencies Reporting - a report for comparing a hospital's statistics with national averages.
- Benchmarking - analysis of the variations in individual hospitals.
