Better Regulation Ministerial Partnership – Department of Finance and Deregulation
The Australian Government’s Better Regulation agenda reflects its commitment to micro-economic reform to drive productivity growth by engendering a culture of continuous regulatory improvement - where regulation is efficient and fit for purpose. Better Regulation will reduce the regulatory costs to Australian business, and the not-for-profit sector, supporting productivity, employment and economic growth.

The Minister for Finance and Deregulation has portfolio responsibility for this agenda, and is leading a number of better regulation initiatives at both the Australian Government and inter-jurisdictional level through the Council of Australian Governments process.

The HTA Review was conducted as a Better Regulation Ministerial Partnership between the Minister for Health and Ageing and the Minister for Finance and Deregulation.
