Interim Research Report
The first phase of the HealthConnect project, from 2001 to 2003, was a research and development phase to test the value and feasibility of the HealthConnect concept, ahead of a decision to implement it on a national basis. The HealthConnect Interim Research Report brings together the key findings to date. The report comprises three volumes:
- volume 1: Overview and findings - provides an overarching view of the Project's achievements and findings to date.
- volume 2: Research reports - contains seven separate research reports responding to each of the Project's high level research questions, together with a report on the progress of e-health building blocks.
- volume 3: Background documents - contains a wealth of background research, drawing on both Australian and international experiences with electronic health information systems.
