NHIMPC

The National Health Information Management Principle Committee (NHIMPC) was established by the Australian Health Ministers to provide guidance on national health information requirements and related technology planning and management requirements. NHIMPC manages and allocates resources to health information projects and working groups where joint Australian, State and Territory Government resources are involved. Membership of NHIMPC comprises senior executives from all jurisdictions and the chair of AHIC. The group reports to the Australian Health Ministers’ Advisory Council.
