Australia’s Foodborne Illness Reduction Strategy 2018 – 2021+

In April 2017 the Australia and New Zealand Ministerial Forum on Food Regulation (the Forum) agreed that the Food Regulation Standing Committee (FRSC) develop a national strategy outlining specific interventions across the food chain to reduce foodborne illness associated with Campylobacter and Salmonella. A consultation document has been developed to facilitate the collaborative development of the strategy. Stakeholder consultation commenced on 12 February 2018 and closed on 29 March 2018.
