Outcome 5: Primary Care

Australians have access to high quality, well-integrated and cost-effective primary care

Outcome 5 was managed in 2006–07 within the Department by the Primary and Ambulatory Care Division, the Mental Health and Workforce Division and the Department’s State and Territory Offices. General Practice Education and Training Limited also contributed to this outcome. It produces its own annual report (refer to Part 3.7 – Corporate Governance in Portfolio Agencies for more information on this agency).
