Annual Report - Outcome 4: Aged Care & Population Ageing

Older Australians enjoy independence, good health and wellbeing. High quality, cost-effective care is accessible to frail older people, and their carers are supported

Outcome 4 was managed in 2006–07 by the Ageing and Aged Care Division, the Office of Aged Care Quality and Compliance and the Department’s State and Territory Offices. The Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency also contributed to this outcome (refer to Part 3.7 – Corporate Governance in Portfolio Agencies for more information on this agency).
