PART 3 MANAGEMENT AND ACCOUNTABILITY

We provide clear and strategic leadership and we work safely, professionally and innovatively

Part 3 discusses the Department’s corporate governance arrangements, external liaison and scrutiny, as well as people and financial management. This part also provides discussion of the Department’s accountability obligations. New in 2011-12 is discussion on work health and safety (replacing occupational health and safety) and carer recognition obligations.

Our People

The Department’s Corporate Plan 2010-13 identifies the following priorities for the Department’s staff.

The Department’s People Strategy – Performance Through People 2010–2015 – is designed to provide a vision of how we will ensure effective delivery of the Department’s and the Government’s goals through the performance of our team.
