prev page | TOC | next page

We recognise and tackle the cause and impacts of health inequities through innovative, evidence-based collaborative practices

Part 2 discusses the main activities of the Department’s 14 Outcomes, reporting on the Department’s performance against the planned targets detailed in the 2011-12 Health and Ageing Portfolio Budget Statements and the 2011-12 Health and Ageing Portfolio Additional Estimates Statements. Part 2 also includes financial reporting on Budget Estimates and actual expenses for 2011-12, and strategic change indicators of social inclusion.

In order to provide Australians with an efficient, high quality health system capable of meeting ever-increasing demands, it is vital that we have plans and structures in place to ensure we use the Department’s resources efficiently and effectively.
