A business operation within the Department – the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) operates via a special account and prepares a set of annual financial statements, which are audited, as required by the Finance Minister’s Orders. The TGA 2010-11 financial statements are included in the Department’s 2010-11 Annual Report.
The balance of the special account represents a standing appropriation from which payments are made for the purposes of the business operation.
